City Administrator

The City Administrator is an important role for the city of Horace. The City Administrator is responsible for management and of city finances as well as following through on the City Council policies. The City Administrator is also involved in the day to day operation of city functions and working with residents. Working to improve the city of Horace for residents is an important goal for the City Administrator.

City Administrator Duties

  • Presents recommendations and information to enable the City Council for decision making on policy matters
  • Responding to inquiries and requests of residents
  • Disseminating information regarding City activities
  • Providing input on regional, state and federal issues which affect the City of Horace
  • Conducting audits and studies of fiscal procedures and transactions within Horace
  • Maintaining a sound fiscal position for the City through the preparation of the annual budget
  • Providing continuous monitoring of financial conditions for Horace and the Council
