How long have you lived in Horace?
I moved to Horace in 2001 from West Fargo. Except for 5 years in Iowa, I’ve lived in the Fargo area since 1984. Originally from Lansford, ND which is north of Minot where I grew up in a small town and worked on my grandpa’s farm till graduation.
Infrastructure portfolio is responsible for the city services and facilities that residents and businesses depend upon for a functional city. This includes, roads, water supply, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, electrical grid, natural gas, telecommunications, city buildings, and other related services. This is commonly referred to as Public Works.
One responsibility is to establish an annual Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) which is used to guide infrastructure improvements for the upcoming year. This process establishes the repair and construction projects that will affect the City of Horace.
