As stated in Horace's Special Assessment Policy, the City Engineer develops a preliminary assessment list for City projects. Property owners then receive a letter in the mail with their proposed assessment amounts, along with an invitation to attend an informal project meeting .

PUBLIC INPUT MEETING FOR ID NO. 2023-2 & ID NO. 2023-3
A public hearing meeting is scheduled for Water, Sewer, Storm, and Street
Improvement District No. 2023-2 and Improvement District 2023-3. The meeting will take place on
Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the Fire Hall Event Center located at
413 Main St. in Horace.
5:30pm: Start Time
6:00pm: Presentation followed by a brief comment period.
