The 2021 Easter Egg Hunt in Horace was the first of its kind.

The event, hosted by the City of Horace and the Horace Park District and held at Freed Park, saw hundreds of kids who gathered to collect 10,000 plastic eggs filled with candy, stickers, tattoos, and small toys, six of which contained winning tickets for brand new bikes.

Special thanks is given to sponsors Interstate Engineering, Dickey Rural Network (DRN) and Ohnstad Twichell for making the event a success.

The goal for 2022 is to increase the number of eggs to 20,000. Additional details to come!

The date for the Easter Egg Hunt 2022 has not yet been set.
