The City of Horace: Looking ahead at 2023 (Slideshow)

Welcome to the City of Horace. Once considered a sleepy town on the prairie, Horace has grown rapidly over the past few years, nearly doubling the number of building permits from year to year since 2016.

Horace is governed by a council of five members which includes a mayor and four council representatives. The Horace City Council meets the first and third Monday of every month to discuss agenda items regarding ordinances, permits, construction projects, and events and is joined by the City Administrator, the appointed engineer, and the City Attorney. City meetings are live-streamed via the City website.

Horace is managed through different departments to accommodate the growth: Administration, Building Inspections, Utilities, Public Works, Finances, and Communications.
