Legal Notices

Notice of all public hearings shall be published at least once each week for two successive weeks, with the first of such notices being published at least fifteen days prior to the hearing, in the official newspaper of the county and in the official newspaper of the municipality in relation to which the zoning action is taken.

The notice of hearing shall:

1) Indicate the time and place of the scheduled public hearing
2) Describe the property by street address, legal description, or map
3) Describe the nature, scope, and purpose of the proposal
4) Indicate the location and source of additional information on the proposal

July 2023 - Public Hearing Notices
Notice is hereby given that there has been filed with the governing body of the City of Horace, Cass County, North Dakota, a petition for the annexation by the City of Horace of the territory described as follows, to-wit: AUDITOR’S LOT 6 OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 138 NORTH, RANGE 50 WEST, CASS COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA.

That said petition sets out, among other things, that the petitioners are the owners of not less than three-fourths (3/4) of the assessed value of the property in said territory; and that said petitioners petition and request the City Council of the City of Horace, North Dakota, to annex said territory to and incorporate said territory within the corporate limits of the City of Horace.

Notice is also given that said petition will come on for public hearing before the City Council of the City of Horace, North Dakota, on the 17th day of July, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Horace Fire Hall, located at 413 Main Street, Horace, ND.
